We successfully managed the european train system and made it to Stockholm, Sweden today. It's even farther north than Denmark and that means the daylight is crazy. As I type this it is just about 10:30 PM and the sun is just setting, with plenty of light still. Our hostel is a boat moored in the main river here. Our room even has a porthole and everything. I'll post pictures soon. Computer time is short now so I gotta go. I'll recap Sweden on Monday.Friday, June 20, 2008

Hi Bork Bork!
Karissa and Michael III helped me set this up so I could talk to you! Your Dad doesn't know it yet, but there will be a Bass Pro Booth at St. Raphael's picnic, so I hope to get him to go for a little while tomorrow nite! Love your e-mails. Keep having a good time, but study too!

Hey Mike. I caught up with all your blogs; sorry it took so long for me to write back. I've been on a big project at work and it finally ended. I took last week off. Most of the time, I caught up on yard work and house work and doctor/dentist appointments. But then Merritt and I got bored so we went to Las Vegas for 3 days. Neither of us had ever been before. So we lazed around the pool in the hot, dry desert sun; ate a couple nice restaurants; even saw "Phantom of the Opera", which was incredible. Then Mer went to Houston for 10 days. Today, I ran a 23:29 5K, which is a personal best but of course nowhere near the "beast" status of your uncle Joe. All your talk about Carlsberg beer is making me thirsty so I need to log off and head to the fridge. Later. - Dan
