We also have reason to celebrate here today.
I finally found onion rings in Copenhagen. Well, okay that's a lie. What this delicious little treat actually is is some sort of faux-crab meat ring that has been deep fried by my good friends at the China Box kiosk near our class building. But hey, they LOOK like onion rings and taste darn good so I won't complain.
We finally received our itenerary for the next week or so. We will depart Denmark early Friday morning and I will march onto the Brittish Isles like a triumphant Caesar. We remain in London through Monday when we then travel to Brussels, Belgium. They have planned most of our time for us in both cities unfortunately but I will do my best to see the sights I wish to see. The Wimbledon Tennis Championships will be underway while we are in London and I'd sure like to partake in the legendary strawberries and cream. We will attend a presentation by the London 2012 Olympics Association and I will probably complain to them that baseball is no longer an olympic sport. I know less about Brussels but am assured that the food will be delicious. We will be meeting with people from the European Union while there and it will also be the first country where I may find some use for the modicum of French I have retained from my high school language courses.

I like your videos. I also like the sights and sounds of Denmark. It gives me a sense that Europe really isn't just pictures in a book, or on your blog. It's a real place, yo.
Are you and Gabe BOTH trying to grow out your beards together? That's a cute bonding experience. Have fun with that!

I couldn't locate the McDonald's in your video (very impressive, by the way). Does it have an "Arch"?
How about a picture or two of where you take classes? (You ARE taking classes, right?) Are cameras allowed inside the classrooms or lecture halls?
By the way, I won a Bass Pro Shop hat, and your Dad won a cake at the St. Raphael picnic! Little switcheroo there!

Regarding McDonalds, in the movie "Pulp Fiction" they say that in Europe they can't call it a Quarter Pounder because they use the Metric System, so they call it a Royale. And that's the extent of my contribution to your cultural education. - Dan
Just to let all family and friends and strangers to the blog know. Myself and Michael have arrived safely in London after a rather lengthy and rushed trip. He even got to see a Wimbledon match on Court 1 this evening. I have been instructed to inform everyone because we only have internet in the lobby of our giant hotel. That is all.

Love the vidio. Felt like I was on the rooftop with you. Back away from the edge, mind you. How cool was watching a match at Wimbledon? Just how did you manage that? Who was playing?
